Sourced from a Oak Knoll District vineyard in the the southern Napa Valley, this cabernet sauvignon has a lighter body than is typical of many Napa cabernets. The palate experience satisfies with well balanced tannins and acidity with notes of blackberry and black cherry and a delicate finish. Harvested at a brix of 24.5, the palate experience is not as "fruit forward" and "weighty" typical of most Napa cabernets. This vintage can be consumed now and will continue to evolve complexity with cellaring well for 5 or more years.
